Former Ajax coach Frank de Boer says Barcelona are playing Frenkie de Jong out of position.

The midfielder left Ajax last summer for Barca.

And Atlanta coach De Boer says: "I saw the last game of Barcelona and Frenkie was almost playing as a forward. That is not his position.

"You need to play in the centre or as a controller.

"I don't know what (Ernesto) Valverde wants to do with him. "(Sergi) Busquets is aging but can still handle the field."
