Former Ajax coach Frank de Boer believes Frenkie de Jong can learn from Barcelona midfielder Sergio Busquets.

De Jong is being linked with a future move to Barca some time over the next 12 months.

De Boer told Ajax Life, "Frenkie can be dangerous further back, but in my opinion he is more of a creator. Wesley (Sneijder) was a creator.

"I think he should watch Sergio Busquets more often. Sometimes he actually runs a little too much with the ball. Even if that is also his immediate quality. He could even let the game go faster.

"But he is already making steps in this area too."
