DC United wrapping up signing of Leeds midfielder Mateusz Klich

DC United are wrapping up the signing of Leeds United midfielder Mateusz Klich.

The Poland international has been a mainstay in the Whites team since his arrival, but has struggled for consistent game time since Jesse Marsch was appointed head coach.

At 32-years-old, Klich is now set to join Wayne Rooney's side in the MLS when the January transfer window opens. Despite clocking up 192 appearances for Leeds, Klich has spent the majority of this season on the bench, with his lack of game time a huge part in his omission from Poland's World Cup squad.

Foot Mercato's Sebastien Denis tweeted: "Info: Mateusz Klich will leave Leeds United. The Polish international midfielder is set to join MLS outfit DC United. Deal completed at 95%."
