DC United coach Wayne Rooney is close to completing his coaching qualifications in England.

The Sun says Rooney has been undergoing his studies for the past year.

The Pro License will clear him to work long-term in England as a manager.

Rooney will be attend the FA exam board as one of a few dozen candidates at the same stage before officially graduating.
