Michael Dawson insists Tottenham didn't do much wrong in defeat to Wolves on Saturday.

The defender insists Wolves simply defended their lead extremely well at White Hart Lane.

"I don't think it was a bad performance and we can't be too down with how we played," Dawson told the Spurs website. "Yes, the result was devastating but we had a lot of possession and we just couldn't get that clear-cut chance. They defended for their lives and we have to give them credit for that.

"A lot of teams might try to play the same way because they know what we're capable of and we have to be prepared for it."
