Simon Davies refuses to accept Fulham are relegation-bound.
"We keep saying that every game is a must win at the minute," Davies told the club's website. "We've got to improve on the performance against Sunderland which obviously wasn't good enough all-round.
"We are doing the right things every day in training but we just haven't been able to take them across onto the match. It's disappointing because we believe we're good enough to stay up but we just haven't been able to show our ability on the pitch.
"We've still got points to play for but with five games to go we've probably got to win four out of those five. If we can get that first win away from home, I think it will be a massive boost to everyone - for that reason, a lot is riding on Saturday.
"Reading is a hard place to go to, but we've just got to go there and win no matter what. We can all talk, but at the end of the day it comes down to performing."
