Aston Villa defender Curtis Davies insists they shouldn't be worried by the threat of big-spending Manchester City next season.
He said: "I think Man City have spent a lot of money this summer and they're still technically in the relegation fight so we're never worried about people spending money.
"Arsenal don't spend a lot of money as such but, when they do bring in players, they bring in top quality players.
"And we pushed them all the way to the wire so we'll seen what happens next year, who we bring in and who will still be here and we just have to basically try to jump in there next season.
"We've got some important games in pre-season to test ourselves so it should be good. Hopefully that will get us starting on fire in the Premier League season."
