Bournemouth are continuing their search for a permanent manager.
The Cherries are looking at former Huddersfield boss David Wagner and two other candidates.
Jonathan Woodgate is still in temporary charge at the club, but is not thought to be a prime candidate to take over permanently, per Sky Sports News.
Wagner is now the favorite to get the job, and a decision could be made as early as the weekend.
The German has Championship and Premier League experience, having taken Huddersfield Town into the top-flight back in 2017.
If the Cherries continue their good form under Woodgate's temporary charge at the weekend against Nottingham Forest, it may strengthen his case for the permanent job.
