David Silva is convinced of big things from Manchester City teammate Brahim Diaz.

Diaz, off contract in June, is a target for Real Madrid and struck twice in the Carabao Cup win against Fulham.

One impressed teammate was compatriot Silva, who took to social media to laud massive praise on the youngster.

"The future of the national team," Silva wrote in response to a tweet from Diaz.

"Congratulations, star!"
