Chelsea star David Luiz wants to stay at the club.

The Brazilian centre-back was offered a massive £220,000-a-week contract by a Qatari club.

However, Luiz believes that at 32 he can still play at the highest level.

And the Evening Standard reports that he wants to come to an agreement with Chelsea over a new contract.

He is out of contract in the summer, allowing him to talk to teams outside England from January.

Luiz may be offered a 12 month deal by Chelsea, per their policy for over 30s. But he wants a two year extension.
