Arsenal defender David Luiz expressed his delight at getting his first goal for the club.

The Brazilian central defender netted the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win over Bournemouth at the weekend.

The Gunners were made to work hard throughout the contest.

It was Luiz who scored what turned out to be the winner early in the game.

Speaking about getting his first goal for the Gunners, Luiz told the club website: "It's an amazing feeling.

"I'm so happy to be here and so happy to score my first goal and help us to win."
