David de Gea refuses to be pressured by Manchester United to enter a new round of contract talks.

Mundo Deportivo says the Spanish international has been holding out on a new deal at Manchester United , with his current contract due to expire next summer.

Attempts to get De Gea - who has captained United on occasion this season - to sign a new deal have so far come to nothing, with the stopper believed to be uncertain about the club's future under the stewardship of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as well as reluctant to spend any more time outside of the Champions League.

And that the impasse in negotiations has "hardly moved in months" as De Gea isn't giving in to the pressure put on him by United to speed up talks.
