Southampton striker Danny Ings has welcomed the work management have made so far this summer.
Securing the permanent signing of Kyle Walker-Peters and Mohammed Salisu, coupled with a host of new contracts, has left Ings excited to see what the season ahead holds.
He said: “Kyle finished the season really strong and you could see how good he is as a player and how much he brings to the team which is fantastic.
“It's really exciting for the club and you see everybody signing contracts and Prowsey [James Ward-Prowse] getting the armband which he thoroughly deserves.
“It's exciting times for everybody at the club, especially for the fans to see a manager building a great, great team trying to get better and better."
