Daniele De Rossi is excited to join Boca Juniors.

The Roma icon signed for Boca last week.

"Why not Boca?" explained the 36-year-old in an official interview, which will be released in full tomorrow.

“This is a great club who want to win and do things properly. I came here for the passion I've had for this club since I was little.

“I came here for the motivation I have to play football, the passion with which I try to play at a high level, and this is a club who will allow me to play in a way that I like to."
