Daniel Wass is ready to sit out his contract at Valencia after agreeing to join Atletico Madrid.

The Denmark wing-back has agreed terms with Atletico Madrid over a pre-contract, with his deal to expire in June,

However, Valencia are refusing to sell Wass to Atletico this month and instead he is prepared to sit out the remaining five months of his contract.

Wass has agreed terms with Atletico to 2023 with an option for another 12 months.

For the moment, Atletico have offered VCF €1m to sign Wass this month.
