The former Liverpool and Manchester City striker has endured an injury-plagued season in Australia.

The Glory have announced Sturridge is leaving the squad. His contract will not be extended.

The 32-year-old only played six league matches for Perth Glory, one of which from the start.

The team finished last in the league.
