He has only featured on the bench in the Carabao Cup so far during the Hornets' current campaign and he knows that without game time, he cannot expect to feature in the Euros with Austria next summer.
“I'm not playing so the manager won't call me up, which is fair enough," Bachmann told the Watford Observer.
“Come the Euros in seven or eight months, however long away it is, I want to be part of that. That's the target for next summer. We'll see what happens then.
“I'm happy at Watford and I feel like I'm developing well here in training, but the main thing is playing games. It's not satisfying right now, but in the long run, it could be a good situation for me and we'll have to see what happens."
