Daniel Alves has jumped to the defence of PSG star Neymar.

The pair played together with PSG and Barcelona.

Alves, now with Sao Paulo, said: "Neymar carries too many responsibilities. What he does with his life is not criminal since he always produces results on the ground.

"People think that we have no problem, that we have no things to deal with, no reason for stress. But we are human.

"He is one of the purest people I have ever met, but he has his personality. He was born to be different. What I always say is that he has to focus on what's in his hands: play and deliver."
