The father of Thiago Alcantara insists the midfielder is staying with Barcelona.

Thiago has been linked with Arsenal as part of a deal which would take Cesc Fabregas back to the Nou Camp.

"The future of Thiago is Barca, there is nothing else to discuss," said Mazinho.

"We're cool, we have a contract.

"There is nothing, only a contract with Barca and that's it, nothing more, he has not spoken to anyone, not with Barca and I hope it stays that way."
