The father of Daley Blind admits leaving Manchester United next month would be "logical".

The defender, off contract in June, has been linked with Inter Milan and Barcelona ahead of the January market.

Blind's father and former Ajax fullback Danny Blind told Ziggo Sports: "That is not an illogical idea, because his contract expires. Manchester United still has the opportunity to trigger an option for an extra season. They might do that, because then they can receive a higher transfer fee.

"I do not know.

"I have no idea what United is asking for transfer fee at the moment. I now only respond to a message, eh. He runs out of his contract in the summer, or he stays for another year, if that option is canceled."
