Curtis unsure of Swansea need to sell Lekhwiya target Gomis

Alan Curtis does not know whether or not Swansea City will need to sell in order to bring in new players in January.

Swans striker Bafetimbi Gomis is being heavily linked with a winter move to Qatari club Lekhwiya but interim boss Curtis says he does not want the Frenchman to leave.

Curtis also mentioned he was unsure if chairman Huw Jenkins may have to offload some key players so the Welsh club can strengthen in next month's window.

"I hope he will stay," Curtis said.

"You see the speculation in the papers but the chairman certainly hasn't mentioned players going to me.

"We probably need to bolster the squad. I'm not sure if we need to allow people to go out the door the other way."
