Alan Curbishley is happy to continue as an assistant at Fulham to manager Rene Meulensteen.
Meulensteen's job at Fulham is hanging by a thread after their FA Cup defeat at Sheffield United.
The Daily Mail says Curbishley, who is currently the club's technical director, is an option for the Fulham board should they decide to part with Meulensteen.
The former Charlton Athletic manager remains behind Meulensteen, but Curbishley would take the job if it became vacant.
