Juan Cuadrado has been assured he has a major part to play with Chelsea next season and is now happy to remain at Stamford Bridge.
The 27 year old struggled to make an impact after joining from Fiorentina for £26.1m in January and started just four games leading to speculation over a possible summer move.
Cuadrado's agent Alessandro Lucci flew to London last week for talks with Chelsea about his client's status and has been convinced that the winger will have a much bigger part to play.
Lucci said: "Juan is fine at Chelsea for now, we'll see about later. He's happy, and the club is happy with him, so for now we're comfortable."
