Crystal Palace winger Zaha: Depth will save us

Wilfred Zaha is delighted with Crystal Palace's new found depth as they attempt to secure their Premier League status.

The Eagles signed Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi on loan in January and Christian Benteke has returned from injury.

They are now up to 13th on the table, and Zaha has credited fresh legs for their spike in form.

"Obviously with the gaffer, we went through horrible stages where there were so many injuries and he looked at the bench and he can't really mix it up in the way he did today," he said.

"It is nice to see because we obviously put some fresh legs out there and it made a difference. It is hard when you have three games in a week, so today made a difference by changing it up.

"I'm always happy to score really and obviously help the team. I'm just happy to get the three points."
