Crystal Palace U23 coach Richard Shaw is delighted with the form of Kian Flanagan.
The 19-year-old netted his sixth goal of the season for the Eagles' U23 side this week, scoring in the 4-1 win against Colchester United.
"I have been saying for a while now, since Kian came back into the building in July, he has really impressed me," Shaw told Palace TV.
"His attitude, his application, and I think he has scored more goals now than he did last season.
"We are trying to encourage him to get in behind the back four and run in behind.
"In the past, he didn't really want to run in behind, because he didn't want to run back, but now he is starting to see the value of it, and he is starting to score some goals.
"And I am really pleased for Kian, because he works hard at his game every single day."
