Crystal Palace manager Frank de Boer is looking to raid his former club Ajax for defender Joel Veltman.

The London Evening Standard reports that Veltman is also a target of Tottenham Hotspur.

The 25-year old has one-year remaining on his contract, which means he could be available for just £10m.

The 47-year old handed Veltman his senior debut at the Amsterdam club five years ago after promoting him from the youth academy.

The new Palace boss wants to add more youth to his squad and eyes Veltman as the perfect signing.
