Crystal Palace will have to increase their bid for Christian Benteke if they want to sign him from Liverpool.

According to the Daily Mail, the Eagles have had an offer of £25million rejected by the Reds who are seeking £30m plus add-ons.

Palace are keen on the 25-year-old Belgian but have reservations about the attacker's salary demands as well as the massive transfer fee.

Benteke struggled at Anfield last season having joined from Aston Villa for £32.5m and is expected to leave the cub this summer.
