Crystal Palace striker Alexander Sorloth has become a star in Turkey with Trabzonspor.

On-loan for the season, Sorloth is currently playing the best football of his career - and proving a big hit with fans.

Indeed, Sorloth recalled an incident when he was in an electronics store to buy a TV, but found himself swamped by fans eager for a picture an autograph.

"Then the police came to help. They politely asked if the fans could leave me so I could get to the car. I really thought it was nice to stand there and greet people taking pictures, but it took quite a while, so the police helped a little," he told VG.

"Here they come and say hello no matter what and give you a hug. Everyone wants to greet you. They are very nice people, I think. Everyone smiles and is happy and I have only good things to say so far."
