Crystal Palace midfielder Chung-yong Lee, who is struggling to get into the team, is disappointed his proposed loan move to Bolton Wanderers did not go through.
It appeared Lee was set for the move on deadline day, only for Palace to back out at the last moment. It is the injury to Bakary Sako that prompted manager Roy Hodsgon to say no to the move.
An agency that represents Lee put out the following statement:
"Following Bakary Sako's injury, Hodgson apparently made an urgent request that they cannot release Lee."
Lee himself had the following to say on the situation: "It makes me flustered as the loan deal was cancelled due to my team-mate's sudden injury."
