Crystal Palace are moving a step closer to securing right back Nathaniel Clyne.
The former Liverpool man is a free agent, after leaving the Anfield club in the summer.
He has not yet found a new club, and now he may have gotten his wishes of staying in the Premier League.
Per The Athletic, Roy Hodsgon's team will wrap up a deal for Clyne this week.
The 29-year-old will sign a short term contract that takes him to January.
Then he will be assessed before being offered a new deal or released.
Clyne is being signed for squad depth, with Joel Ward and Martin Kelly capable of playing at right back too.
