Crystal Palace are eyeing a raid on the Spanish Segunda Division this summer.

The Mirror says Palace have sent scouts to watch 14-goal Spanish striker Juan Munoz.

They watched with a view to a bargain basement summer move.

Munoz is currently tearing up La Liga 2 with Alcorcon and his goalscoring form has brought him to the attention of the Eagles.

The 23-year-old, who is looking for a return to top-flight football, is entering the final year of his contract and could be available for less than £2million.
