Recent reports suggest that Crystal Palace midfielder Neil Danns is close to a move to Rangers.
The 28-year old has been linked with the Scottish champions for the past week or so and it is believed that a deal could be on the cards.
'Gers boss Ally McCoist confirmed that director of football Andrew Dickson has spoken to Dann's agent Derek Green and confirmed that the former Blackburn Rovers and Birmingham City man is a strong transfer target for the Ibrox club.
"As regards Neil, Andrew has spoken to his representative and we're keen, very keen," he said.
"That's one I am pursuing further as well. He's a player we are keen on."
