Crystal Palace remain in contact with Fiorentina striker Khouma Babacar.

Babacar attracted enquiries from Palace over the summer and despite the dismissal of Frank de Boer, their interest has remained.

Sportmediaset says Babacar, who has started the season on the bench, could be open to a move to England in January.

Palace have resumed talks with Pantaleo Corvino, the Viola sports director, to register their interest about doing a deal over the winter transfer window.

Babacar's agent, Fali Ramadani, is eager to place a client in English football after failing to secure a move to Manchester United for Inter Milan winger Ivan Perisic over the summer.
