Watford winger Ismaila Sarr's move to Aston Villa is stalling.

According to the Evening Standard, a deal for Sarr to join Villa was thought to have been all but completed.

However, it appears the Midlands club are backing out of signing the Senegalese winger.

Now it is reported that Crystal Palace are the team with the strongest interest in Sarr.

Manager Patrick Vieira wants to add quality to his front line, which often relies on Wilfried Zaha for inspiration and goals.

Sarr would be sold for £25million plus add-ons, which is the fee that Villa and Watford had agreed in the past few days.
