Manchester United are eager to tie down Scott McTominay to a new deal.
The Sun says United are trying to tie down McTominay to stop a snatch by Crystal Palace.
Scotland midfielder McTominay, 22, is anxious to see where he stands in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's plans after being given a push into the big time by previous Old Trafford manager Jose Mourinho.
And Palace are interested in the powerful 6ft 3in prospect if United are not going to use him regularly next season and beyond.
However United's chiefs are keen to keep McTominay happy and are putting together a new contract.
