Portland Timbers striker Fanendo Adi is being linked with Crystal Palace and Celtic.

The Sentinel says Adi is understood to have attracted attention for his performances in Major League Soccer, with Scottish duo Rangers and Celtic rumoured to be considering making a bid.

French side St Etienne are also said to be interested, but the Timbers' general manager, Gavin Wilkinson, has told MLSoccer.com that the club will not be entertaining any offers for the 25-year-old.

Meanwhile, Adi's representatives have previously said that it is not certain he would get a work permit to play in England.
