Norwich City goalkeeper John Ruddy is wanted by Crystal Palace as a contingency plan for Julian Speroni according to The Mirror.
Eagles veteran Speroni is a free agent this summer and is yet to sign a new deal with the south London club which has prompted them to target Ruddy.
27-year old Canaries ace Ruddy could be tempted by a move away from Carrow Road after the Norfolk outfit were relegated to the Championship.
Palace want to keep Speroni but if he opts to leave, with Hull City waiting in the wings, the Selhurst Park side will make Ruddy their number one summer target.
