Crystal Palace aren't ready to give up on Cheikhou Kouyate just yet.

The London Evening Standard says Palace are looking into a new contract for Africa Cup of Nations-winning midfielder Kouyate.

The 32-year-old's current deal expires in the summer but talks are ongoing over an extension.

Senegal ace Kouyate has been linked with an immediate move to Saudi Arabia's Al Ittihad.
