Crystal Palace midfielder McArthur: Beating Arsenal a team performance

Crystal Palace midfielder James McArthur says their 3-2 win at Arsenal was a great team performance.

The Scotsman bagged his third league goal when he turned home from close range Scott Dann's header.

Looking back on his goal, he said: "Dannsy's done great for it. Some might feel that I've not done as well as I should have this year with the goals and thankfully I got one today."

Turning his attention to the rest of the squad, McArthur elaborated further: "It's a very, very hard place to come to and what a performance.

"We've always found it hard here. Last year we came into the game and thought that we had a very good chance and they put us away in 15-20 minutes. Today we knew that the start was very, very important and we got a good start that stood us in good stead for the full match.

"We have been very good away from home with some amazing results and that's definitely up there this year."
