Crystal Palace midfielder Conor Gallagher has rejected comparisons with Chelsea great Frank Lampard.
Gallagher, who is on loan in south London from the Blues, was compared to the former Chelsea midfielder and manager by Eagles boss, Patrick Vieira.
Vieira cited Gallagher's ability to score goals and time his arrival into the box perfectly - talents that were on full show with his goal against rival Brighton on Friday night.
Gallagher, however, is not thinking of the comparison.
"Let's be serious... Frank Lampard, I can't be compared to someone like that," Gallagher told Sky Sports.
"I couldn't be happier when it went in. I was just trying to get contact on it! I did try and get it in the corner, I didn't even look up I don't think."
