Crystal Palace midfielder Yohan Cabaye is delighted for Steve Mandanda over his form with the Eagles.

Mandanda arrived in the summer from Marseille and was hailed as the signing of summer by Palace chairman Steve Parish last week

Fellow Frenchman Cabaye told SFR Sport: "He has adapted well, everyone was able to see his quality.

"Players and fans appreciate him. He will be important for us if we want to make a big championship.

"The coach was smart with him. He first waited for Steve to understand the demands on the field. Especially since it is a key position."
