Departing Reading striker Danny Loader is interesting Crystal Palace.

The Daily Mail says the 19-year-old is set to depart the Madejski Stadium as a free agent this summer after turning down the offer of a new deal, before the Royals reportedly withdrew their offer.

Loader was part of the England Under-17 squad that won the World Cup and despite making 12 appearances for Championship outfit Reading, he has his sights set on a Premier League move.

Wolves have already failed in their attempts to lure the youngster and it seems Palace could now move to the front of the queue, although any club that signs Loader must pay compensation to Reading as he is under the age of 24.
