Crystal Palace keeper Guaita pleased with Everton clean sheet

Crystal Palace goalkeeper Vicente Guaita was pleased with his clean sheet for their 0-0 draw with Everton.

Guaita ensured his side finished this afternoon's clash against Everton with a point to their name by pulling off a truly remarkable save in the final few minutes of time.

The Spanish shot-stopper flung an arm up to deny Cenk Tosun as he attempted to break the deadlock with a smart backheel, only to watch as Guaita's instincts came to the fore to guard his goal and earn another clean sheet for Crystal Palace.

He told the club's website: "For me it's good and for the fans it's good.

"[Staying up is] important because this team is [in the] Premier League. For the team they are up there in the table. For the players, it's happy; the group are very, very happy. Now it's [time] to enjoy [safety]. It's been a good season and important to finish this season and spend next season in the Premier League."
