Crystal Palace keen on re-signing Chelsea striker Batshuayi

Crystal Palace are keen on re-signing Chelsea striker Michy Batshuayi.

The Daily Express says Palace are ready to offer Batshuayi a way out of Stamford Bridge in the summer.

Belgium striker Batshuayi has started only five games all season for Frank Lampard's team, with the rest of his 19 appearances coming off the bench.

He spent six months on loan at Palace last season, scoring five goals in 11 games - and the Selhurst Park club are interested in a prominent move this summer.

Chelsea, though, wanted £45 million for Batshuayi, who they signed for £34m in July 2016 from Marseille, when Palace inquired in January.

Batshuayi will have one year left on his contract at the end of this season, and Chelsea will be ready to accept offers - but Palace will want that expected fee much reduced before they can make a move.
