Christian Benteke insists being Crystal Palace's record transfer isn't a problem for him.

Benteke insisted his £32million fee was no burden as he helps fire Palace up the league.

He said: “Strikers are expensive these days but so are defenders.

“Do I feel pressure because of my fee? Naaah. I just want to do well. I know I am able to do it. I just have to work hard, give 100 per cent and then I will be happy.

“I am here to score goals. I know my qualities and my weaknesses. I know how hard on my game I have to work. I also know my strengths.

“That is why I came to Crystal Palace because I know they have a good team and I want to prove myself again. I feel like I can score a lot of goals in this team."
