Crystal Palace fullback Wan-Bissaka frustrated over Bournemouth defeat

Crystal Palace fullback Aaron Wan-Bissaka admitted frustration after their defeat to Bournemouth.

Palace were beaten in the final minutes of the game.

Wan-Bissaka said, “I thought they were better than us for the first fifteen, they got on top but then in the second half I thought the team played well as we were moving the ball around quick and created a lot of chances."

Junior Stanislas converted a penalty with three minutes remaining after referee, Mike Dean, adjudged that Mamadou Sakho had impeded Jefferson Lerma but it was a decision which the Palace defender felt was one that the side were unfortunate to concede.

“I have watched it back and there wasn't really a great deal of contact but at the same time it's disappointing as we were getting back in the game and felt we were close to getting the point," as Wan-Bissaka now has to turn his attention to the match at Selhurst on Saturday against Wolves who have made an impressive start to life in the top flight.

“No games come easy but we will work hard in training this week and be ready to take the challenge on at the weekend."
