The Eagles defender has been in south London since making the move from Sunderland in January 2017 and is happy with life down in SE25.
Van Aanholt said, “I have enjoyed every single moment and I love this club, the fans are great and it's just a great place to be and I think I have settled in very well from when I signed so I am very happy."
The squad will be looking to build on their success at Huddersfield last week on Saturday afternoon as they come up against Newcastle, who only have one point from their opening five games. Van Aanholt though will not be taking too much notice of this season's form table when the action gets under way in this top flight encounter.
“We cannot under estimate them because they have had some tough games but they are a good side and have a good manager, Rafael Benítez, who is very experienced. I am looking forward to the game because it's going to be good one."
