Crystal Palace are eyeing Roma striker Borja Mayoral.

Mayoral is on-loan at Roma from Real Madrid.

The Sun says Palace were interested in the striker last summer but he insisted on staying in Italy and the move could now happen during the winter transfer window.

The 24-year-old has played just 26 minutes of football in Serie A this season, with Mourinho favouring Tammy Abraham in the middle of a front three.

Mayoral fared much better under former manager Paulo Fonseca as he scored 17 goals and assisted seven in 47 games last season.

A product of Real Madrid's academy, Mayoral has made 33 appearances for the Spanish giants since making his debut in 2015.
