Crystal Palace defender Mamadou Sakho has opened the door to a return to Ligue 1.

The former PSG captain was asked about returning to Paris FC.

"Be part of the adventure if Paris FC is in Ligue 1? As I have always said, my story is written according to my destiny. We will see what will be done tomorrow. I'm always told: when you hear Paris, there is Sakho who goes with it. So, whether PSG or Paris FC, for me, it's the same thing (smile)," he told Sport 24.

"It's like being asked to choose between my father and my mother. I do not choose. PSG fans understand my speech. Both clubs have the same place in my heart. I cut my teeth at Paris FC before growing up at PSG. So, we'll see."
