Brede Hangeland could be on his way back to Norway this summer.
The 33-year old centre-back is out of contract with Crystal Palace at the end of the month and is being linked with a return to former club Viking Stavanger.
Aften Posten reports that Viking are keen to have Hangeland back in a coaching role or quite possibly as a sporting director.
The former Fulham star kicked off his career with Viking in 2000 before leaving for FC Copenhagen in 2006 prior to his six-and-a-half years at Craven Cottage.
